Attractions and Activities

chumphon
chumphon is the gateway to the southern part of Thailand. It has many beautiful beaches and a well maintained natural environment, that can't be found in any of the other provinces. Besides the attraction of the beaches, there are lots of other interesting places that you can visit around chumphon, such as national parks, the surrounding mountains, the islands, and waterfalls and caves.

- Koh Phitak, Koh Kram, Koh Lang Tad, Koh Khee Nok, Koh Prao  
- Arunothai Beach is a longest beach in Tako district. It's about 6 kilometers long. It is the location of the Shrine of Phrachao Borommawongthoe Krommaluang Chumphon Khetudomsak, Prince of Chumphon,founder of the modern navy in Thailand. There are a number of beautiful islands in front of the beach that you can visit by long tail boat or speed boat.
